I'll have to give 2012Coleman's idea about the cover some thought. Seems like an awful lot of work, but maybe it's worth it.

Can't comment on what products do or don't work on the decals, but I know not putting anything on them will make them peel and fade after about 10 years... ;)

Well, they actually started a lot sooner than that.. It was at the 10 year mark where I finally just scrapped them off completely.. :)

The side and rear decals still look great, so that's good enough for me.. :)

I don't put anything on the roof. Just wash it once or twice a year with the automotive soap I use for the truck when it gets really dirty..

I've got an ADCO cover for it, but only put it on when it's stored for the winter.. I tried doing it between trips during the summer, but even once a month as a PITA.. So, I just leave it uncovered during the time I'm using it..

Mine has flaps for the door, so even when it's covered in the winter, I can still get in and we use it for an extra room too. Just use electric heater and they can't use the toilet..

Strongly disagree about the cover being a hassle to put on/take off. Takes me all of 20 - 30 minutes. The teqnique is to have a large rubbermaid garbage can. When the cover is on, you simply unhook all the straps that hold it at the botom, then get on top ot the TT and pull it up on the sides, folding it to the center. You then get down and pull the cover into the (clean) trash can folding it accordion style. Put the lid on and your done. Putting it on you follow the same steps in reverse form the rear of the TT since the front of the cover is on top. You get some pool noodles to cover sharp edges such as gutter extensions and door stops. When the cover is on, you store the trash can inside the TT's door. The new ADCO covers have zippered sections so entry while covered is easy. The other benefit is you wont have all the debris from those trees staining it - and boy will it be stained. Then the hassle will be forever cleaning black streaks and tree stains. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Thanks for everyone's responses. If the 303 won't harm the decals, I'll give that a try. I really only need to worry about the front and street side, as the back is completely shaded from our trees and the neighbors' trees, and the curb side faces north.

I do need to consider the rubber roof also, though. Will the 303 work on that, as well?

It would be nice to have a shelter, but it just won't work in our back yard. The TT is sandwiched between our storage building (not movable)and our property line. City ordinance won't let us put even an aluminum shelter that close to our neighbors. The trailer sits only about 4' from our neighbor's fence. Fortunately, we don't have an HOA in our neighborhood.

Another 303 fan here. No need for wax, just 303 the whole exterior.

YOu can use ZEP high gloss floor wax. Mop on a few coats. Takes a little arm work.
