I've picked up one very wise thought from this forum thread which I completely agree with and has been my way of life from the time I was in grade school: I'm not here to make the next guy happy, and I'm not here to please anyone else's standard of living. If I try to live up the expectations of the next person, I'll be a miserable person! If you are living for the "other" person and not for yourself, you're going to be miserable. With that said:
I purchased the vehicle that fits MY needs and I don't care what the next owner of my vehicle thinks. I'm purchasing the one that works for me, and quite frankly, I don't care about resale value. To own a vehicle for a while and all you are concerned about is the day you sell it, ... man ... you'll never be able to enjoy the vehicle! Get the vehicle that YOU like and forget about the next person. What's this obsession with "resale!" I purchase a vehicle and plan to keep it forever! Resale is not a factor. Sometimes the vehicle has simply lived it's life expectancy for me. At that point, I've gotten my money's worth out of it. I sell it for whatever I can get and move on.
OK, I've "preached" enough today.
Here's the front and back seat of my truck. The back seat lifts up providing LOTS of space! We love it!
The center lifts back to create a full bench seat:

The middle back rest flips down to create arm rests and drink holders for passengers on each side. Between the front seats are plugs and adapters near the floor.

So, if I'm going to show off, well .... here's one you might enjoy!
