Your engine is only putting out 210HP stock. That's not much HP. Now days, 210 HP is a laughable amount compared to even the new V6 gas engines. Your going to need somewhere around 125HP just to push that rig down the road on the straight and level at 65 MPH.
I have a 6.5 that was putting out 200HP stock and when it got in the mountains it would drag is way down with a 7K TT on the back. On big mountains I would be down to less than 30 MPH.
That being said the 7.3 is a very good engine to tune because it has a very strong foundation. The week point of that truck is going to be in back of the engine. Even with a standard tranny you start putting a ton of low speed torque and HP to that clutch, your going to have problems.
My point? Have fun but don't get greedy! :B
(on edit the 2000 PS came with 235 HP not 210.) :o
