Suspension upgrades?

I have a 2010 f150 supercrew 6.5 box with the max payload and tow package. I wanted a truck camper so I picked up an older import camper 7'10" which says it weighs 450 kg. I know I am under my 1690lb cargo limit but I want to upgrade my suspension. I have a 2" leveling kit with 1" for the rear. I've been trying to find which is the best bang for the buck to get. I'm leaning towards timbrens but am unsure how effective they would be considering the levelling kit. I have also been looking at add a leafs or leaf helpers and airbags. I hope that you guys can give some opinions. Please help me make the right call. :h:h:h

  • IN my experience keeping those tires up near 80 pounds makes more difference than anything else. Otherwise...does it sag? Sway uncomfortably on corners?? You might not need anything. I had a little heavier rig on a tundra with just airbags and it did surprisingly well.
  • welcome...what suspension issue (s) do you want to address?
    Sag?
    Sway?
    Porpoising?

Need to know what issues are first...

Thanks but I've upgraded my tires they are Toyo AT 2 xtreme. They are an e- rated tire. I don't know how much of a difference that will make. But I hope some. Now it is the suspension I'd like to beef up a bit. I know it is a 1/2 ton truck and not ideal for a slide in camper being a crew cab and all. That is why I bought a small import truck camper.
    Cheers :)
