None of the vehicles you list will have the payload, or tow rating to tow that size/weight trailer while carrying the family. You may be able to with a Ford Excursion or one of the GM 2500 Suburbans but even that will be pushing the limits.
Your best option would be a 3/4 ton truck or a 1 ton (3500) van.
That's way too much trailer for any half-ton SUV.
OP, why don't you want a Suburban? Pretty much the only two SUVs that could pull that trailer are a Suburban 2500 or an Excursion. And any Excursion you find will be at least 12 years old. At least the Suburbans were made until 2013.
We are also a family of 5, and my kids are all teenagers. My boys are 6' 1" and 5' 10", both 200 lbs. Our family weighs 900 lbs. Our trailer, fully loaded, weighs in at 8600 lbs, with 1120 lbs of tongue weight. Our Suburban 2500 is the only SUV that can handle that load. Even the Excursion doesn't have a big enough RAWR for this setup.
And we've driven across the Rocky Mountains several times, no issues.
