Sway Bar fitment issues for Ram

Well the answer is no the hellwig big wig will not fit and work effectively on a ram with the 6.4 engine due to the resonator on the exhaust system ( yes you can make it fit but don't think it would help much the way you would have to mount it other than modifying the exhaust system) . I will give Hellwig credit they sent me longer end links at no cost to me but even with the longer end links and extensions the bar ended up being far to low to be any effective help with sway considering it is supposed to be as close to horizontal with the axle as possible and also would end up maybe 8 inches from the ground . so for now no sway bar for the new truck,just upper stable loads. I had the camper on the new truck yesterday for the first time seems to be ok for the short ride I took with it. I guess you can never research anything fully enough since one of the reasons I did not order the ram air adjust system was I wanted to have the ability to add after market parts if I felt I needed them , how did I make out lol ,live and learn as they say . it has been 1 year and 3 months since we first saw the mammoth and decided to buy one , that time involved selling our old truck and 5th wheel trailer ordering the mammoth and ordering the new truck and getting the truck rigged for the camper and at last it is all done and ready to roll just as our season here in the northeast has ended cant wait for spring!
