I went 110k miles on the OEM tires on my Izuzu trooper and 95k on my CRV until the tires reached the wear indicators. Neither ever had a rotation. The cost of tire rotations every 6k miles would have about covered the cost of new tires.
Excellent mileage on your tires! My explorers ran in those ranges also, all easy highway miles. The two jeeps with their knubby mud n snow tires running in back country roads were very hard on the softer rubber but did stick well to the road. And alignment tweaks on them were limited. Fortunately my tire rotations are free.
Way up north we used chains in the winter. They could induce some interesting wear patterns but were good for running on ice.
