Problem is from what I gather, that the US market is pretty conservative. So radical looking alternatives, that work very well, would be hard to explain to a US Market that is naturally skeptical.
One my many trips overseas, trying to explain ,to North Americans, how things work in a European or Australian context, was constantly "lost in translation".
Would be frustrating for an advertiser who was trying to sell something that was " too left field"
