That's interesting, makes sense, Renault owns Nissan. Believe or not it was harder on fuel than my 6.7 litre Cummins in my Dodge 3500.
We camped across from a fellow who had Ford F250 and a slide in camper. He also towed a fair sized boat.
The Kimberley gorges were beautiful but if we go back, it will be to met up with the friends we met there.
Whether you get something based on the Navara, depends on Renault. Your old Frontier will soldier on.
Mercedes is using the Navara as the basis for their first Pickup. It will not be a Navara , having a different body, engines( more powerful ones) suspension than the Navara..
US pickups are now very rare.as well as slide in Campers It has been a fight to get People to buy them TC's that is
If your Navara was heavy on fuel, I would say you had something wrong with it as they are pretty frugal
Not to mention serious running costs, thanks to a thirsty 6.7-litre Cummins turbo-diesel inline six-cylinder engine producing 276kW and 1084Nm – that’s more than twice the Holden Colorado ute’s class-leading 500Nm!
and two versions of a Renault-sourced 2.3-litre turbo-diesel – both now matching the class leaders with a 3500kg towing capacity and the high-output 140kW/450Nm version offering class-leading fuel consumption as low as 6.3L/100km.
