Synthetic Oil for Towing?
I have a 2007 Chev 2500HD 6.0L gas with 36K Are there any benifits of using say Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic for the towing season? Or is regular 5w30 just as good?

A 2007 with only 36k miles on it tells me it does not get driven very much.. When it does get driven, it's probably towing or you just take it around the block once a month or so...
I'd run any oil of your choice and change it once a year since you only put 5k year on average..
When you do change it, make sure you bring it up to full operating temp before draining it (hot oil) as that will get rid of any sludge that builds up on the bottom of the pan when it sits so long...
