Mobil 1 is a Group 3 synthetic, or it was last I checked, which is barely considered a synthetic. I would look at a good group 4, like Amsoil, and run one year round and based on the year and mileage you would probably be able to do once a year oil changes, something not advised with dino oil.
Conventional oils are fine for towing.
Yes they are, synthetics are better.
Many OEM's are using synthetic for the factory fill these days.
