Synthetic Oil for Towing?
I have a 2007 Chev 2500HD 6.0L gas with 36K Are there any benifits of using say Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic for the towing season? Or is regular 5w30 just as good?

Long story short; no you won't see any benefits.
To give you an analogy about synthetic oil:
I can measure my waist with a micrometer or a tape measure. The tape measure does just fine for me even thought I can get a more accurate measurement with the micrometer.
We don't even use synthetic oils in most of our race motors and they live just fine lap after lap at 8 to 9K.
