Synthetic Oil for Towing?
I have a 2007 Chev 2500HD 6.0L gas with 36K Are there any benifits of using say Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic for the towing season? Or is regular 5w30 just as good?

For my 6.7 Foed diesel manusl:
1For severe duty usage, use SAE 5W-40 API CJ-4.
2For biodiesel (grades B6-B20) usage, use SAE 5W-40 or SAE
15W-40 API CJ-4.
I believe that most, if not all, 5w-40 oils are synthetic. Since they add the biodiesel to much of the nations diesel fuel supply, I will use the synthetic.
