synthetic trans fluid
Has anyone ever switched their trans fluid over the pure synthetic like (royal purple) why would you do this or why not? thank you

What 74vette said. Most EO trans fluids are full synthetic now, including Mercon-V, Mercon SP, Dex-VI, Chrysler ATF+4.
They all switched for good reasons. If you have an older fluid like Dex-3 or Mercon (without a suffux) then you will probably get longer transmission life if you switch to one of the newer fluids.
