synthetic trans fluid
Has anyone ever switched their trans fluid over the pure synthetic like (royal purple) why would you do this or why not? thank you

I switched my '04 4L80E over to Decron VI. I used the drain + filter replacement, fill, drive, drain, and fill method. I have noticed towing temps are about 15 degrees cooler. Also, shifts through all gears feel much firmer. Each gear hits with very little lag.
