We have a free standing dinette and chairs in our 26' no slide trailer. I did not like the legs supporting the table. Our Aussie likes laying under the table and the legs were in the way.
After living with it for one camping season I took off the legs and put a single support under it then fastened the other side to the wall of the trailer under the dining room window.
I put the leg in a position that the drop leaf still works.
I like it and it is much sturdier. The doggie likes to lay there OUT OF THE WAY LOL.
