While my DW did not mind the table she certainly did not like the two bench seats. Since one bench seat covered the furnace there was not much to be done about that one. The other seat covered the water pump and had a storage drawer she was willing to give up.
So, I removed 2/3 of the second seat and replaced it with a standard kitchen chair. I lay it down when we travel.
I also had to fabricate a triangle shaped piece to set on the floor incase we wanted to use the table as a bed. I have never had to use it yet.
I would have no problem removing the two post TT table and replacing it with a regular kitchen table anchored to the floor but it is not an issue.
