Tail gate
Looking to cut the wgt of truck. Can I take tail gate off and still be ok with camper. Bed is 6'6" camper is 90". GMC half ton.

Looking at your other posts, i see you have a Sun Lite. Neighbor has Sun Lite pop up and doesn't use tailgate. Says she has no problems, but i have never seen her truck without the camper on it. I feel lucky that i have so many neighbors with truck campers and am located near at least 8 tc dealers. Lots of people to pester!
