Is this DC new to you? Your profile lists you as joining in 2010. , If this is new to you, what did you have before?
If it was a standard friction control, then you really need to study up on the DC. The big advantage of the friction control is that they can be set up poorly and still provide some benefit.
Not so with the DC. being as the sway control is integreated into the WD, a poorly setup DC loses both functions.
As Barney said, the DC needs to be dialed in pretty much spot on.
I consider it one of the more advanced hitches best suited for those that like to get involved in the setup of their rig. The sticky will help you out a lot.
