The TC should be designed to support itself beyond the end of the bed as it's most common to not have the gate in. I tried emailing Travel Lite but no answer yet. The camper is an 8 footer and my truck box is 6'6" so there'd be 18" hang over. I wonder if that's ok or hmmm?
