I thought that GM ad campaign was just about the dumbest thing ever. The integrated tailgate step is a fantastic idea.
I'm currently looking at getting a Bestop bumper step for my RAM 2500. Trucks have gotten so tall in recent years and it's just about a groin ripper to hike my short legs up in the bed. I need to get something like this to make it easier in and out of the truck.

I bought the AMP bed step since I'm a heavier guy and it's built to a heavier standard. I've had it since 2013, it was the first accessory I bought for my truck. Still works smoothly and shows no real sign of wear. Simple 1 hour job to install at most (should really take 30 minutes). Just need hand tools and some eye protection.
