First off there are no free lunches. Truck and trailer designs are both compromises. You can't expect a rear suspension that doesn't scramble the eggs on a grocery run to handle large lateral energy forces. So a soft riding 1/2 ton isn't going to handle a large 26' with slide lifted trailer. It may pull it fine, but tow it??. The OP has a 3/4ton. Our TT is only a lifted 20'Creekside 20FQ and my truck is a 1ton SRW CTD Dodge. Even that wasn't enough truck stock. He has less truck with more trailer.
Before I lifted our trailer it towed great. But it's used on backroads and forestry gravel roads. So when I found a bent axel, an upgrade was in order.
