We were at an RV show this weekend and this vendor was there . They had a good pitch ,but we were wondering if anyone has tried this tank treatment.

    Is your tank ill?

If not, then why waste money on "treatments"?

I USE NOTHING BUT WATER in my tanks..

I put a few gallons of water in the black tank to start then before dumping I add more water to help break up and dilute the solids..

When solids are done, close valve and then I dump some dawn detergent in and add clean water to "rinse" and dump that..

    No chemicals needed.
  • I have 2 trailers one for weekend outings and one on a piece of property. The one on my property gets chemicals because it gets emptied once a month. The weekender no chemicals

This stuff is really green ,in fact they said you could drink it ,not that I would. Its suppose to clean the sensors (which are a problem) we have tried the other methods of sensor cleaning. It also cleans the solids that harden on the sides of your tanks, that rinsing does not get rid of. Like I said he had a good pitch ,but also wanted a good price for it,but you only use a couple of oz.per tank.

My trailer is 32 yrs old, I have owned it 9 yrs now, tank sensors work perfect and I do nothing special nor do I dump special chemical brews in the tanks and I highly doubt the previous owners did either.

I simply do not allow the black tank especially to build up until it is completely full, nor do I allow the contents to sit there for weeks or months or all summer.. No, I DUMP it BEFORE stuff gets a chance to stiffen up and have a long hang time..

If it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy by all means buy the special brew of chemicals and have at it.. But not me.

There ARE folks who have had sensor problems and have been able to get them working by using the "Geo" method which also does not involve expensive chemicals..
  • a magic black tank cleaner, excellent.
install a black tank sprayer/flusher opposite the drain and letRfly.
    bumpy
  • Best way to clean sensors is a wand down through your toilet. The high pressure spray will clean them.
