Well, max weight is 8600 lbs and payload is listed at 3255. I would say your statement of 5400 pounds is pretty close to empty.

Maybe the extra 55 pounds comes from a battery?

Why? It has nothing to do with the real world. You need to load it as you would for a trip and go to the scales. Subtract that from your RAWR and you will have what you need.
