It's straight-forward (people that live near the border cross for purchases regularly). You have to pay import duties, and tax in your state.

I'm not looking for a trailer, but have also been intrigued by this company. I've never seen one in person though, in the US or Canada.

No, he doesn't look Amish, I grew up in their neighborhood and that isn't the look. I know there is some extra expense involved with bringing a trailer into the US from Canada. The units run a lot lighter which I think but haven't checked out is due to not using what I call "gluey board" called by other names like OSB, the stuff that gets wet, expands and falls apart (we have owned a few RVs)and not using the fiberglass siding which can delam over time. He has several youtube videos with different models and showing one being put together in "fast time". We just want something that will last and will still be light/smallish.

Web site doesn't show much. I would have to see one in person. But, I agree that I would rather have a well built TT as opposed to one that is just a lot of graphics.

After checking out his videos on You Tube it looks almost like he could build you one to order. He has a lot of different ones he has built. Kinda looks like a guy with a few employees building TT in a small shop. Nothing wrong with that. That is how Lindberg had his plane built to cross the Atlantic.

I agree about the website needing floor plans even just basic ones. I notice, in all the youtube videos that the bathroom is on the side which I think is a good idea, much less loosening up when moving/bumping along when near the axle. 13" wheels? I don't have a clue but I know compared even to Camplite, they are even more lightweight. Camplite has nothing in our area either and when I addressed hail damage to them, they said the repair is done by replacing the entire piece of aluminum and just layered over the damaged piece. We live in KS with more than our share of hail. With the siding, you can replace just the pieces that get damaged.

I watched all the videos. The guy knows his product, that's for sure. Impressive work, very light but seem to be well-built. It also appears he is willing to do just about any mod or layout someone wants.

We are thinking of down sizing and using a car as a tow vehicle. I am keeping this guy in mind.
