The best $1000 dollars I spent on RVing was renting a T@B! We were considering buying one, back then $13,000 in Canada. Rented one for a week long holiday, took it back and walked away from it. We are both about 5'11" and not being able to stand up straight in the trailer wore thin really fast! We tend to spend most of our time outside, but first thing in the morning, getting dressed and doing other things we had to do at the same time with no room made us both say NO WAY.
The truck camper is somewhat crowded, but it still has more room than the T@B.
OH and as get more chronologically enhanced, I like having my own toilet close by at about 4 AM! :D
There are many people who love their T@B, and we liked the idea , but reality hit home with the one week rental. Many of the folks that really like them also admit they are shorter than we are so they would be able to stand up straight in the trailer.
