TC camping along the Erie canal NYS
Anyone have experience of camping (and maybe putting in a canoe)along the Erie canal. Sights to see and things to do? Dave

When my wife and i were younger we would tent camp on our pontoon boat all the time on the Erie canal. Many places to put in and excellent tourist traps. We do remember seeing camping but it was long ago. Good luck, It's absolutely beautiful in the spring and summer. The fall can be a little rainy and to cold that far north.
