TC converted to work on flatbed truck/trailer?

Me again. I'm new and allowed to blow up the subforum, right?

Anyone in here modified their camper to sit on a flatbed? My practically free 11ft caveman has a small rear drop down tail for the sewage piping and door.

I was looking to make a base out of angle iron that bolts to my existing wood frame and incorporating some side opening storage where the besides would sit.

We also plan to mount this onto our 30ft gooseneck from time to time to haul the rock crawler to Moab.

TIA for any insight!
  • It took some searching to find this, because I couldn't remember the guys forum name, and he hasn't posted here in about 10 years. I knew it was "pro" something and he was from Arkansas. This guy has a seriously active imagination, and some great welding and fabrication skills.

Pretty much exactly what I planned to do. Since my camper doesn't have a dedicated black or grey tank, I planned to add those inside the new elevated subframe. Thanks!
