Batteries are in the bed of truck, not the camper because there is no room for two batteries in the TC.
Other benefits not necessary, are, yes, lower COG, less weight on wing of camper, batteries get alternator charged every time the truck is driven, batteries are linked though a solenoid to truck starting battery so possible self-jump,
Mainly I am sharing how I passed power through the wall for only a few bucks. I looked hard to find a product already made for this but came up empty.
Not shown - a battery disconnect switch to turn off power to the wall when not connected.
I still have power in camper. I installed an exit sign battery for the solar panels sake, so do have limited power when not on truck, plugged in or in sunlight.
