Ok, I went and reread what I wrote originally. I stated that when I set the camper down in the bed both ends of the truck drop, but the rear drops more than the front. I'll try and say it a different way....When I load the full weight of the camper on the truck, both the front and the rear of my truck lower. This indicates weight is being placed on both ends. Obviously much more is placed on the rear than the front. The front of my truck does not raise up. It gets lower, but not by much. Does that help clarify at all?
For the record, I'm not doing airbags. I hate airbags. I'll never do airbags again. I had them when I towed a 32' gooseneck and that's when I went with the Roadmasters.
Thanks for all the input everyone. I think I will start by weighing and see what I find.
I'm a little frustrated because I thought I did good research, picked this camper for specific reasons, and assumed it would be a great fit since it is specifically for a shortbed truck. I'm mad at myself for not test fitting it before signing the papers.
