4. The F250 has an optional camper package that gives it the upper overload spring and anti-sway bars on the front and rear. If you do not have this package, look into aftermarket products to do the same.
5. Too bad you sold the car hauler. It would have been a perfect way to transport your Jeep. If you flat tow, I would suggest a toad braking system. If you go with a dolly, make sure it has brakes.
My camper and trailer are both heavier than what you have and mine does well, but you will need to add some items to your setup.
Thanks. You are right about the car hauler, but it had to go for a couple reasons. My back yard was getting a little crowded and the wife asked. More importantly is that at campgrounds we found less and less room to park the trailer, and it was a hassle. At least with a dolly I can move it by hand and it fits in the campsite.
My lifted Jeep vibrates a little bit at speeds over 60mph, I'm a little nervous about flat towing until that gets resolved. I don't know yet if I need new u-joints, driveshaft, or if my t-case is worn out. I don't want it to grenade from me not catching something in time.
I just put on the sway bars yesterday. Night and day difference when empty! Hope it's the same when loaded.
