On a side note I had an 'experience' when dumping the tanks this weekend. We pulled up to a rest stop dump station and when I went to remove the cap to put on the hose black water dumped on the ground! it wasn't a lot, maybe a couple cups but it was not a fun thing!!! Luckily I had latex gloves on and washed everything down the drain but this should not happen on a new rig! I wasn't happy.
I checked the blade valves when finished and nothing seemed to be leaking but the tanks were empty so I'll keep and eye on it and see how it does next time.
Looks like an interesting place. Thanks for sharing. In regards to your dumping experience, it's not uncommon for a bit of trash to get caught in the dump valve from time to time allowing a little liquid to get past. To combat this I added a second knife valve on the end of the dump pipe. This catches any leakage so I can open the cap with less chance of getting a liquid surprise. Makes me a happier camper :-)
