If it's installed aft of the wheel well, you'd have to plug in the wiring prior to backing under the TC, correct? How does that help prevent pinching the bundle? I was leaning towards either forward of the wheel well up by the rail or under the bed at the front end of the box somewhere.
In bed fwd
Pro: closer, easy to hook up
Con: have to drill hole in bed, could be damaged depending on load
In bed aft
Pro: closer, easy to hook up
Con: have to drill hole in bed, could be damaged depending on load, wiring might get dragged under TC and get pinched
Under bed
Pro: invisible, no chance it can be caught/damaged by load
Con: wiring could rub cab/bed and damage paint, might be hard to access when (de)coupling
Trailer hitch
Pro: cheapest option, just need new bundle
Con: wire could get pinched, smaller gage charge wire so very slow charge, no fuse to protect truck
Anything else?
