- stickbowjoeExplorerSlides suck. They suck in all kinds of ways.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5....one is too many.
A flawed concept for TCs, in my opinion. If you need slides, get a trailer.
Or, better yet, stay home.
Humbly submitted,
Joe - okan-starExplorerSince this is probably a custom order anyway , I ran across an old thread here on this camper and someone said if they could put the wardrobe slide on the drivers side it would be better , I agree , it would give extra floor space to get it with
I wonder if maybe it cant because of the full wall dinette refer slide on that side and the structural support of the cabover
Anyway all I can afford to do is talk about it
When I looked at buying a Host 3 slide or a Eagle cap 1160 in 09 they where only low 40k`s that was before Chalet made TC`S , and EC made the 1165 , no way a 55k camper for me - jefe_4x4ExplorerLatin; noun:
Tee Cee-us e-rec-tus. - billyray50ExplorerYes you make a good point. I looked at some chalets down at princess craft truck camper dealership recently in round rock , Texas. It was a triple slide TS 116fb model with radiant floor heating and a washer/dryer under island in kitchen! Showed pictures to the DW and she likes the chalets. Even gave the green light to upgrade to a newer dually and bigger TC with slides next February. 4 slides!! WOW.
- Ski_Pro_3ExplorerI would bet if you only operated the dining-side slides, and sat there, you could tip the truck over! HA!!
- Butch50ExplorerWhat I find interesting is when you go to their web site all the campers have an Est Dry Weight of 4700#. It doesn't matter if it is the double, triple or the quad slide.

Im jazzed that a TC can have as many slides as a 5th , but really for me I dont see a real benefit to having a slide closet and all that floor space clear on the slide side and jaming the bed all the way to the wall on the other , might as well have a full wall wardrobe , you still have a little floor on the acsess side with it
If they could make the bed slide with the slide they might really have somthing
I'm with you on the bed slide!
I also have seen this before, and I'm not really impressed....you'd be paying $55k for a couch basically. It has pretty much zero counter space, less legroom on the can than in an airplane bathroom, and four slides that have the option to fail and leak rain or cold/hot air. All that and it's probably too much to haul on any standard top three duallys out there. I'm sticking with my AF.;) - okan-starExplorerIm jazzed that a TC can have as many slides as a 5th , but really for me I dont see a real benefit to having a slide closet and all that floor space clear on the slide side and jaming the bed all the way to the wall on the other , might as well have a full wall wardrobe , you still have a little floor on the acsess side with it

If you have to ask, you can't haul it.
I'm sure there are those that feel the thing can be best hauled with a 3/4 ton SRW gasser just as well if not better than a DRW Diesel.;)
Sorry just couldn't resist.
