temp stick temperature sensor

i know this has come up many times, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this specific product. we travel with 2 huskies, and if we leave them in the TT with AC on, I'm worried about what might happen with a power outage that knocks out the AC. This temp stick looks like a great solution!

it requires wifi, and I have a hotspot for the TT or we can leave a cell phone as a hotspot to connect. anyone use this product? looks like a great solution. im curious what it requires for data, or if anyone has tried it with a wifi hotspot.

  • A lot of campgrounds don't allow you to leave your pets alone so they don't bother others
  • The only issue I see is the need for an internet connection. Out west where you need AC, some of the desert area campgrounds were rather remote with WiFi and my hot spot connections rather spotty.

Otherwise it seems like a good idea.
  • RV's aren't really like cars. If you have to leave your animal, you can open all the windows and vents and the inside won't get much hotter than the outside. Prior to A/C in campers that's how we all camped. You really aren't looking at anything much different than a small house. A fan can help move the air. Cars don't have screens like RVs so they get hot because the windows can only be cracked open so the pet can't get out plus the roof is not well insulated. Of course if you can't trust your beast not to take out the screen if a cat decides to stroll by, you might have a problem!
