Yeah, those wheel covers definitely don't do it any favors.
Yah. Not a huge fan either. But we’ll put them on for long trips. There is a noticeable efficiency gain at highway speeds. And I’m not a big fan of the plain Aero covers. Meh. Something different. Well designed though as far as installation. 2 seconds on and 2 seconds off.- fj12ryderExplorer IIIYeah, those wheel covers definitely don't do it any favors.

If you guys want to know whats inside (literaly) and under the skin of Tesla cars
Theres Sandy Munro chanel on YT,, his engineering firm does teardowns of Tesla and many other cars.
Quite interesting to watch.
I’ve seen a few of his tear downs. Definetly interesting.
I think eventually private shops will have to have mechanic development programs, apprenticeships etc. Shops like Sandy Munro’s will become more common as the electric vehicle becomes main stream.
Off topic slightly. Wife bought a 35 dollar wrap kit for her aero wheel covers. Kind of an interesting look. I still prefer the alloys underneath but it comes with a 5 to 10 percent efficiency hit running without the aero covers. She's having fun.
The Alloys look good on their own but there is a centre cap and lug nut covers kit that dress them up a bit. Like 20 bucks online or 50 bucks for Tesla OEM. Shes got it on order. I think I prefer the naked alloy look.- free_radicalExplorerIf you guys want to know whats inside (literaly) and under the skin of Tesla cars

Aw mannn. So you’ll have yours a year or two before my wife’s...if she decides to get one. She is REALLY enjoying driving her model 3. If I’m well behaved I get to drive it. She is still making little mods to her car. She’s having fun.
Saw a model 3 with an after market hitch on it. Hardly visible. Bike rack??? Didn’t see a wiring harness.
Again everything is rumor until confirmed, its circulating that Elon would ramp up and expand production capabilities seeing this much demand on the Cybertruck -- and how it push up Tesla stock prices when they are meeting and exceeding production target.
I got to see that bike rack! Something I can recommend to my daughter for her Tesla X. Yosemite Sam1 wrote:

And semi-official, I'm in the 35,783th.
If you have a pending order of Tesla and a stockholder, Fidelity Investment gives you an opportunity to shoot a question to Elon Musk that will be answered in their earnings release press-con on May 1.
I’m not sure how to read the reservation number but looks like my wife’s number is 47674.
Let em work out the bugs first. :).
For this region being served by their California plant, the reservation number starts at 112779883.
Just logged in. The number on the owl is RN113047674. What does that mean.
If you are directed by the system to a California production line, you are 303,574th in the line. It seems you are with the 11*** series.
Mine was made within 2 hours of launch. Granting the reservation system keeps on crashing, I was still on the 35th thousand.
