He commented that several times the speed was shown as being below 50 mph, and the first quarter of the video, the speedometer was obscured a lot of the time. I wonder what the average speed was for the route, or did I miss that? How long did it take, which would give you a decent idea of average speed.
I have to bet if the same driver did the 500 miles, the average speed was over 45 MPH. On camera driving over 11 hours would open driver and company to fines and other restrictions. Back when the double nickel was nation wide if we logged over 450 miles in 10 hours the company would warn us we might be audited by feds.
But I have to wonder if they could make the 11 hours out of battery if working for the 62-65 top/50 average speed that most freight companies expect.

As an fyi the Modesto facility of Pepsi is a Frito Lay facility. It’s the only place they installed Megachargers so far.
Is it a production facility? Or just distribution? Do they backhaul materials into the plant?
