- I love the idea. It's a great pickup for someone else.

Elon Musk says a lot of things.
Except he delivers.
I remember a story about a friend where he borrowed $50,000 to meet his payroll. The friend is skeptical he can do it and had written the money off.
Guess, what, he got the first Tesla delivered to his house (which by now must be collectible).
He delivers what? He cant produce what he has already promised, certainly not in the manner in which it was promised. Tesla will never be a mainstream producer of anything automotive. They will be lucky to keep limping along as they are for much longer. The best they can hope for is to generate enough technology that they can lock down to be more attractive for a buy out. This clown show will come to end, and unfortunate owners of a Tesla product will be going to the Smithsonian to get parts.
And the sky is falling and it's the end of the world -- in Idaho, I presume? lol
I also remember the critics saying Tesla won't be able to do it due to battery limitations inducing range insecurity.
Until Tesla proved ranges of 350-500 miles and going San Francisco to NY then down to Florida and back to West Coast with multiple charging stations.
And still up to now, the Mr Magoo's are looking for their new dark clouds. - ksssExplorer

Well Sam...you gotta start watching the Fast Lane videos on their experience with their bought and paid for Tesla.
Maybe, but I would rather listen to my daughter who is a happy owner of Tesla X who has no reason to hype it nor slam it for pay for click.
Good to listen to a family member and their experience and I do the same thing, myself.
But I also listen, watch and read a wide variety of sources on a subject...those I like and those I may have a bias against and some of those are somewhere in between...to get as much information as I can, in order to use my independent thought capability, to separate the wheat from the chaff and make an informed decision.
I want to be confident that I have thoroughly examined the subject at hand. - Yosemite_Sam1Explorer

How many hours to fully charge ???
Supercharging in 15 mins. and regular in 30 mins.
This is an old info. Tesla will most likely put in the updated numbers when they finally release and launch it. - Yosemite_Sam1Explorer

I wonder what kind of range it will offer? Towing can burn a lot of energy fast, and when I'm towing our camper I am often going someplace with no electricity.
250 to 300 mile range will be acceptable to me. This is comparable to my current gas up range.
And I need to stretch at this point. - LessmoreExplorer II
