"test drive"
Before I purchase a TT I want to hook it up to my truck and take it on a short drive on a freeway to see how it handles, etc. Do you think a dealer would allow me to do this?

I think you all scared BobbyG2013 with your technical answers.
In1998 I asked a dealer to please tow our new trailer before money changed hands and they let us.
If it makes you feel better, by all means ask.
But as a dealer I would want to know I had your business first.
