Test of snow tires vs all season-video from Road and Track

I switched from studded to studdless winter tires, blizzak or Michelin ice as soon as they were avaiable for my vehicles. IMHO they blow studded tires away in virtually every situation. Ice and hardpack snow traction is amazing.

And treadlife seems to be about the same as studded tires.
