The Ram was utilizing that technology in conjunction with the eb on the downhill run.
This is an assumption that has yet to be verified. Also, if you look at the video I posted of the guy who owns a 2017, 2019, and now a 2020 PSD, he even stated multuple times in the video that the EB on the Cummins that he did a tow test on was stronger than even his 2020 PSD.
4x4ord,
What the fanboy (not that there's anything wrong with it)means is the video he posted about an owner saying a cummins exhaust brake performed better than a 2020 Power Stroke disguised as "2020 PSD owner compares to his 2019 pulling 18k lbs".
LMAO... and where he linked the video to the statement on the exhaust brake was the dead give away. And I didn't even say anything. :B
I didn't say anything because that was not what that thread was about. It was a thread about a good comparison video about the a 2019 PSD versus a 2020 PSD. My father-in-law found it useful because he was wondering how the 2020's compared to his 2019 so I figured other people would too. So no, not everyone is like you by trying to go out of their way to piss on everyone else's truck engine at every opportunity they get. Ironically, the video popped up as my recommended right after viewing your 2020 7.3L video that you posted.
And I'm sure everyone here believes you 100%... :R Otherwise nice spin!
Don't really care if they do because it is the truth. If I wanted to bring up dirt on the PSD, then don't you think I would have done it in the thread I started. Not everyone is as as extreme or spend every waking moment thinking up ways they can bring up dirt against their favorite truck's competition. I don't have that kind of time, I don't think that way about other trucks, and I just don't care enough to do so.
They all have their pluses and minuses and which is better depends on what on the needs/wants of the buyer. It also changes with every update. I can't say that the Cummins is best for everyone, just like you can't say the Powerstroke is best for everyone. I also would not rag anyone for buying a Powerstroke or Duramax, and I would also not silently feel disdained behind a keyboard about it. Again, I am just not that extreme of a fan or that way. So while you would think up things like that, others who are not as fanatical wouldn't.
