Anyway, fun tests to watch and even more fun to listen to the brand loyalist throw a fit when their truck of choice isn't the one on top....lol...I do love it..:B
dreeder has it spot on here. FUN!
TFL to me is more about fun than actual serious stuff. Nathan, Roman, Kent and Andre seem to be more about serious work but have fun doing it and make videos that entertain mostly and inform some for the viewers.
So gosh, don't think these tests are the end all, prove all seriously accurate final say on any of the vehicles tested.
Just as in the deliberation videos they posted, so much of our own feeling for a certain truck or brand comes from our own seat of the pants experience and the opinions are sure gonna vary wildly.
So just enjoy these videos for the fun they should be. No use getting so serious about results.
Besides, my truck won so there. LOL, oh gosh, even I realize how silly that sounds. - DonnohExplorerThese were the most scientific and unbiased tests I've ever witnessed.
Fuel mileage test, two clicks on the pump. Check.
Dashboard has soft feel. Check.
It's loud or not. Check.
Pull a load up a high altitude mountain and navigate traffic. Check.
These pulls under stressing conditions are fun to watch, these biased guys, not so much. - TargaExplorerAnyway, fun tests to watch and even more fun to listen to the brand loyalist throw a fit when their truck of choice isn't the one on top....lol...I do love it..:B
- qbert10ExplorerI watched the videos and I had a hard time believing that this is the be all end all test.
So one runs up a hill faster than the other, I don't live anywhere near that area. So you like the look of one more than I do. Your opinion mean almost nothing to me.
Like I tell most people when asked what they should buy. YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT!!! Test drive anything that makes you happy and pick one based on your needs and likes, not mine.
Just my $.02!!!
Will- - Bigfoot_affairNomad III wonder how much Ram paid them to win the challenge? Poor old Mr Truck seems to be out of the loop. He clearly is the only one there to make any informed comments on the trucks they tested and it sure sounded like he really liked the GM trucks.
His comments, about the GM's
-Silverado is one of my favorites
-best seats
-Best brakes
-Best exhaust brake
-Best ride
He then goes on to say "its very impressive" "it will out run them all" "quickest of the three dually's"
Then Roman has the balls to say "well its has the least amount of hp and torque" LOL what a joke! "it is what it is"
I went and voted with my money, I just picked up a 2015 3500 Denali, LOVE IT! - ROBERTSUNRUSExplorer

And finally the half ton deliberation. It's interesting how consistent the voters where on this category.

:) Hi, Thank You, FishOnOne, for posting the links. :C - ROBERTSUNRUSExplorer:) Hi, during the actual testing, (video) they said the Ford got 11.3 MPG and I believe most of us knew that was wrong. On the board, and in their discussion, it was actually 4.3 MPG.

Wonder what the rear axle gear ratios were in the gasser HD test.
4:10's in both I believe. - ROBERTSUNRUSExplorer:) Hi, once again their deliberation was like a bunch of girls. Instead of picking the trucks for their actual performance they picked them because of fender shapes, interiors looks, and sounds. (not quietness) I believe that all of these trucks were Diesels, Right? I felt like slapping the guy in the hat that kept mentioning GAS MILEAGE. :S I like the videos, but their voting process really sucks.
Can you imagine two top fuel dragters in a quarter mile race and the slower car wins because it has nicer looking wheels, fancier paint, and used less fuel?????????
