Yeah it’s not hunting for gears. Zero downshifts save for the one pulling the hill, but that one was basically intentional. Was a test to see how long it would pull 5th up my “test grade”. Now I know when to shift it down with this trailer.
It would pull my v nose trailer with 5 sleds and gear through 6% grades at 70 without dropping to 4th but this trailer is a couple thousand lbs heavier, empty.
I think it is around 9klbs empty with water on board. Dry weight is listed at 8, but it was perceptibly heavier than that.
Pulled dead straight though. Tracked like a train car.
Looks like it could handle a couple jumps! but honestly it’s the cheapest lift kit they make I’m pretty sure. Idk what brand it is, because I bought it that way and the original owner bought it brand new with the lift already installed. But it ain’t no Carli suspension. Not even close, lol!
