The recall you're referencing to was from the 80's. This recall is for the 6.2L trucks and Ford is taking a proactive approach to get it fixed.
Says the pot to the kettle.
He plainly said "in the past" and " years ago".
Just proves that no manufacturer is perfect and they all have issues and make mistakes. Especially during new model years and such. Always gonna be bugs to work out. Some just are bigger than others.
