Talk about a long standing issue... my mother had a 1959 Ford Galaxy. One day while in a store shopping, with the transmission in "Park" it just slipped somehow and rolled down a very gentle incline so it was about halfway into the street. Nothing happened, nobody ran into it, and someone reported it and they made a PA announcement. She just reparked it and set the brake that time. That was back in about 1961.
