I only went with Maxxis (on my car hauler) because feedback and searching I read seemed to indicate they sucked the least of the china bombs. I would have preferred LT tires but I didn't find a set I liked before my trip. Made in China did not run me off. I just put a set of Carlisle on my TT and they are clearly stamped made in china. Again, feedback and searching, not country of origin, led me to believe these will fit my needs. Either way, the tires will be changed every 3-4 years regardless of mileage (unless they esplode). I believe this is a reasonable expectation of tire life.
