1) People don't like to accept that they are no longer number 1. (virtually impossible to maintain this status)
2) People are nationalist and this was driven, in the past, by unions.
3) There is a bias against races
4) Hard to accept that some people do things better than us.
This isn't an American thing. That's how most human beings are. In Mexico, we feel the same way. We don't like our jobs going to Bulgaria and China. We think our products are superior to others. Unions are still in control in Mexico.
Not a debate nor an opinion. Simple facts about human beings.
As we say in Spanish, Bueno, Bonito y Barato. That's how most humans buy. Just look at Walmart. Show me an rver who doesn't park there or buy there yet we all complain about imports and minimum wage. People like cheap.
