And yet my Chinese "Duro" tires cracked to pieces in 2 years and the Thai made Maxxis tires I have been using go the full warranty period of 5 years. Anecdotal evidence or not, until something better is available that is what I will do. There is a building consensus and reviews to suggest that the newest Carlisle tire is of the same quality and if that continues I will have options. Quoting a Chinese produced article claiming their stuff is just as good doesn't make it so.
