From what I have seen, all too often some RV companies fit tires/wheels that are smaller than what we might choose if we were spec'ing it out ourselves.
These long, heavy travel trailers sometimes come with 15" or even 14", where we might like to see 16" where the choices of tires with more load capacity is greater.
If I had a trailer that I really liked in that category, I would ( if there was physical space for them ) go to 16".
You can always sell the old wheels and tires to get back at least part of the upgrade cost.
