If you read all of the posts and the original post in particular (and carefully) you would note that the Original subject was NOT ST vs LT tires. It was about the Maxxis Lovers who claim they are not made in China and telling all newbies to replace all their tires with Maxxis.
You might notice that the usual suspects of the "Maxxis Preisthood" have been mostly absent from this debate. And in that sense the title has proved correct.
Since my original post this debate has morphed into the inevitable ST vs LT question. That is why I added the two posts about that subject farther down the thread from the original.
And yes the title was intended to get your attention, which by the response to this thread I think I have succeeded. And hopefully some good information will get through the myth and fiction that passes for "FACT" on this subject.
